Entrepreneurs in Japan started coming to me for advice about running a small business. So many of you are confused about what you should or could do to market your business. You’ve told me that you’re overwhelmed by out-of-control growth yet terrified by the moments of silence when you have no new work coming in. I know exactly how that rollercoaster ride feels.
With a degree in business and marketing (‘94), a successful online e-commerce business (from 2007 to 2018) and two decades of experience living internationally, I offer my consulting services and marketing expertise to fellow expats and global citizens. 2019 marks my sixth year in business as a consultant.
Personal stuff. I absolutely love flowers and have lived by the motto “Bloom where you are planted” since just before the birth of my second child. The meaning behind this phrase for me relates to my status as an expat and foreign wife. It’s not always an easy road but it’s the path I chose, and maybe you did too. I want to make this life the best it can be.
